My campus uses Target the Question. It was great in second grade last year! However, my new third grade team said they rarely used it due to the new math TEKS. They said Target the Question wasn’t rigorous enough. Now that the released STAAR is out, I was wondering if the 3 rd grade version would be revised this year?

Thank you so much for your support of Target the Question. We are thrilled that you are implementing it on your campus. All grade levels of Target the Question have been updated to correlate to the new math TEKS. If your team is using the digital version, they will have the most up to date revisions already at their finger tips. If they are using the bulletin board version, you will want to check that they have the 5th edition.
You can also remind your teachers that the introductory materials have a ton of valuable tips to help in teaching skills related to the new math TEKS. We have also released a new training video that could possibly assist you in teacher development meetings to ensure that all of the crew is comfortable and familiar with using Target the Question.
