Greek and Latin Roots™ vocabulary cards are full-color 5.5″ x 8.5″ cards, printed on coated cardstock so they are both durable and simple to display. Each card face features a Greek or Latin root presented in a clever way to illustrate the meaning of the root word. All the card faces are color coded, too, with Greek roots bordered in green and Latin roots bordered in lavender, giving a quick visual cue as to the parent language. The card backs give the parent language of each root, a full definition, and some common vocabulary words to help students learn the use of the root.
